Personally I like the lack of a trunk release. Hated it at first, but I get alittle better sense of security with the latch missing.The trunk becomes more secure. Keeping in mind Nothing is FULL proof.But on Average Everyone looks for a release INSIDE the cab which takes time.Even if they do Eventually remember OOoo the back seat trunk entrance,,,,, its all about time at this point and Not getting caught. I think on Average, with that in mind, odds are in My favor at That point.Just saying. These folks want to get IN and OUT on Average.No access until they fold the rear seats down, then it's wide open. But I do agree about the lack of an inside release. Would it have killed them to put a release button in the glove box like they did for so many years, along with a lock cylinder on the glove box door?
