Saw my first TourX in the wild today.

Approaching my one year anniversary with the X. I have seen only one to date. Phoenix, Silver in color.

I saw a white one at Coit and Campbell in Richardson, TX today. It is possible that it is the same one I saw in Plano last week, but not sure. That make 3 TourXs, 1 sportback, and 1 GS within 20 miles of my house. And I know of at least 2 other TourXs in the area.

Saw my first TourX today in white with Veteran Plates in Phoenix, on Bethany Home and 16th Street turning into shopping mall on the SW side......maybe he is on the forum!....

I live in the heavily populated (and heavily trafficked) Silicon Valley/S.F. Bay area and I have yet to see another Tour X on the road. The only one besides mine that I've ever seen is parked in a driveway that I pass by when biking. That Tour X owner also has a Pontiac G6. I like the exclusivity of my Tour X. Makes me glad I didn't buy a Subaru Outback as I see MANY of those in my travels.
CORRECTION: The other Tour X owner in my neighborhood also has a Pontiac G8 GT (NOT a G6 as I originally posted).

We were driving my wife's Sportback along the Chevrolet Buick highway in Michigan and we passed a white Regal Sportback. We must have surprised them, because they then came by a minute later to check us out!

I‘m passing another TourX on the daily commute heading in the opposite direction between Bedford NY and Stamford CT, sometimes in the morning, sometimes in the evening.

It’s either twilight ebony or dark moon blue. I’m in the sport red.

After pulling away from a stoplight around 5:45pm today in Fairfax, VA, I realized there was another smoked pearl TourX on the other side of the Outback in front of me. Other than the Opels I saw in Germany, this is the first TourX I've seen since purchasing mine nearly 2 months ago. Unfortunately I had to turn shortly thereafter and couldn't send any greetings. I wonder if I inspired someone. I also wonder if the Outback driver noticed being in the Buick sandwich.

So there are TWO other TourX's in Fairfax? I'm in Falls Church. Only one I have seen was on 95 N near Baltimore. That was late last year.

I guess so. I saw an Ebony Twilight on Fairfax Blvd. on a rainy April day earlier this year...what color is yours?

I saw my first Tourx that was not dealer inventory today: a red one on Liberty Road just North of Home Road near Powell, OH. I've seen a half-dozen Sportbacks and a couple of GS's on the road since they were introduced.

Saw another one around SE Michigan.
They are a rare sight even here.
The owner was a little startled when I praised it. 🤔
To some people a car is just transportation.

Sadly...

Maybe not an owner but a GM exec who was surprised that this car can draw interest / excitement.

Most likely just surprised to find another weirdo that likes station wagons, you know, like Pontiac Aztecs owners are surprised when they meet other Aztec owners.

Actually, not a GM owned vehicle. (They are very easily identifiable since we see so many around here)

I spotted a grey Tour X exactly like mine in Manchester, NH around 8:15 on Saturday morning. About one minute later while going through an intersection, I was T-boned on the driver's side at an intersection by a girl in a Corolla who went through a red light.

Uggh. Sorry to hear this. Hope you are OK. Hope you get a satisfactory repair and settlement from her insurance company.

It only took 8 months but I finally saw another TourX leaving the grocery store as I was pulling into a grocery store here in Chicago 😀

The other driver said the sun was in her eyes and she wasn't paying attention. She told the same story to the police officer when he arrived so I should be 100% covered by her insurance company. I think the car is probably repairable since the damage is all on the doors and the wheels and axles weren't affected. I was able to drive it home and it seemed ok. I'll have to wait and see what the insurance adjuster says and what a body shop can do but hopefully it's repairable.
