Saw my first TourX in the wild today.

I know this is a tourx thread, but spotted a sportback in the wild for the first time since I bought mine in March.

I keep looking for Sportbacks, and when I see the grill, notice it;s a sedan, it’s almost always a Lucerne or Verano. i still have never seen a Sportback in real life.

I have done the same thing. It's tempting to de-badge it and then absolutely no one will know what I'm driving.

I’m tempted to buy a Sportback and a Cascada just to have a matching set…then look for a slightly older Regal with a stick shift.

Spotted my first Sportback ever in the wild. It was headed west in Atlanta/North Decatur on Lawrenceville HWY at the Orion Drive corner at 5:45pm, black.i was in a Red TourX in the left turn lane ready to make a U turn

Saw a smoked pearl TourX in Butler NJ last night, you were parked in a Verizon spot next to the Outback. Any chance you are here?

Today was the day - November 13, 2021. I saw a Rioja Red TourX in downtown San Jose (William Street) at about 8:15 a.m. It had a Fordham University license plate frame (California plates) and a Thule cargo carrier on the roof. I was driving my 2011 Nissan Leaf (Cayenne Red) at the time. I've owned my TourX since April 2019 and this is the first TourX I've seen while out driving. For this VERY populated (over 1 million) area, that is amazing rarity.

I live in Lexington, KY so I never expected to see a TourX (probably in the whole state). So last month I was driving my niece to the repair shop where she had her tires repaired when we saw a gray TourX driving ahead of us in the right lane. We came up to the suburban mom driving it and waved and honked. To say she wasn't interested is an understatement. I guess not an enthusiast she never turned her head. Kind of a downer spotting one in the wild and being completely ignored. We thought she might have been thinking we were looney tunes and just would ignore us.

She probably thought you were a creeper trying to hit on her…

I've had similar experiences - I figured not car-enthusiasts, and ya - probably very few like another motorist waiving at them...

I find that strange though. Normies don't usually buy wagons, let alone a Buick wagon. 🤔

I figure it's some driving a vehicle that they didn't really pick/is not really their vehicle

I thought I saw my first TourX in the wild today, only to be disappointed that it was a Volvo wagon. It was beautiful, but “these are not the droids you are looking for”

Ironically, I saw my first V90 Cross Country in the wild today at the Publix grocery store in Decatur, GA (Atlanta area). If my TourX got totaled, I'd be tempted to upgrade to a Cross Country.
It's impressive how Volvo's 'high off roading wagon' still manages to look so long and mean
