Bought a whole bunch of goodies for my Regal last Week.
4 AC Delco Iridium 41-125 Spark Plugs
MSD Ignition Coil - Blaster Series - GM 4-CYL Engines - Black - 4-Pack
Permatex Dielectric Grease
1 Lexivon 5/8" Swivel Magnetic Spark Plug Socket (3/8" Drive x 10" Length)
GM Genuine Parts - VVT
Intake and Exhaust Solenoids
5 Quarts Quaker State 5W-30 Full Synthetic Oil w/Dexos
AC Delco Professional Oil Filter
3 Gallons of Valvoline MaxLife Full Synthetic Transmission Fliud - DextronVI
1 Gallon Prestone Dex-Cool Anti-Freeze/Coolant - Concentrate (For GM Vehicles)
2 Gallons Distilled Water for Anti-Freeze/Coolant Flush and Fill
Fram Ultra Air Filter
Waited for it to warm up a little bit today before going outside to work on my Regal.
It was finally about 48° around 3:45pm, but that wind chill made it feel like 37°.
I did manage to get a few of the things on my List done.
I Removed the Engine Cover.
Then started replaced the Ignition Coil Packs with the MSD Coil Packs listed above (one at a Time).
I also replaced the Spark Plugs one at a time with the AC Delco's listed above.
While I had the Engine Cover off, I went ahead and replaced both VVT Solenoids (
Intake and Exhaust) both were GM Genuine Parts.
I put the Engine Cover Back and then replaced the Air Filter with the Fram Ultra Air Filter.
I never did make it down on the ground to change any fluids.
That's quite all right, my Back has really been hurting a lot lately.
I only have Oil & Filter to change, Transmission Fluid and Anti-Freeze/Coolant.
Guess I should also Rotate the tires?
Maybe I can get to these things tomorrow, supposed to be even warmer.
My Regal's not going to know how to feel after all of this.
Hopefully my Gas Milage will improve with just the things I did today, it should.
Should be getting around 300-335 miles to a tank, I've only been getting around
225. Guess it could be my lead foot (JK)?
