Installation of LED/Turn Signal Fog Lamps for GS

Haven't done that yet, but I will soon to clean/paint them

I read somewhere you need to remove the whole rear bumper lol I ended up just cleaning those beastly ports and plastidipping the whole thing black lol I later pulled the outter rim of the black off so just the center is done and it looks great .. no more exhaust stains messing up the look because you can't really see anything on the tails now 😀 just hit that bad boy with a spray of simple green during a wash and a quick swipe with a custom cut off section of one of those synthetic chamois and you're set .. screw painting that lol

I tried 2 different times to get them off. There are definitely a couple hidden screws. I was elbow deep, up in her...(the bumper)...I still couldn't find those fu*kers!

WI right on the edge of corn country, E85 everywhere! Though it gets very cold here in the winter, I doubt it would start in 0°F

I believe I saw a diagram once showing a screw on each INSIDE the bumper on the top lol it's strange

You're quite an odd little fella but you're funny lol having vanity and custom plates in NY and NJ is begging to get pulled over lol a bunch of my friends are local and state police (and I'll probably be one as well within a year) so they tell me all the time that they just look for vanitys when bored just to see what kind of stop it'll be lol

Usually people that can afford the extra dough for the personalized plate aren't in to shady business nor have bunk plates, so it's the exact opposite for me.

They make us put the annual Inspection sticker and bi-annual registration sticker in the lower corner of the windshield/windscreen (driver side).

Well you should know you can't compare police in NY and NJ to a cop from say your area lol no offense but I'm betting the cops here are a little more hardass and strict (unfortunately a LOT more corrupt and just working to retire instead of working to make a difference) .. I just know around here vanity plates get you unwanted attention lol

no .. actually, our state troopers are running quite a few unmarked and unlimited supercharged v8s with HUGE radiators (as per a dispatcher friend of mine) lol I believe after a certain speed they stop pursuit but if there's no other cars on the road all bets are off LOL

Hey guys if I could ask for a little assistance. I've wired everything up as described (white, yellow, and black from box to white, yellow, and black on the lights, then red to fuse 52, black to ground, and yellow to yellow in the light harness from the box) but my GS lights in 'auto' the yellow LEDs are illuminated. The only way I get the DRL (white light) to work is when I have just the parking lights on, 'auto' mode off. If I have the headlights in 'on' position, all I have is yellow LED. In auto mode or headlights on the LEDs are a solid yellow and nothing changes when activating the turn signal. Any assistance would be appreciated.

Yeah finally got them on and I'm for sure getting rid of it most likely this Spring .. just kind of want to head in a different direction and there are a few things about this car that irk me like no LSD, clunky transmission and pretty small aftermarket scene .. thought I could get over this but even if I dropped a ton of money into the engine like kranz did it wouldnt be as fast as my previous car so it's time to try my hand at the SUV game lol

Hey guys any input regarding the wiring for the yellow turn signal? I was finally able to get my white LEDs to stay illuminated continuously by removing the yellow signal cable.
