20x9s with 245/40/20 tires fit perfectly. They tuck into the fender nicely--just flush with the fenders but not sticking out in the least. No rubbing or strange noises, plenty of clearance at the strut spring perch (well, 3/16" is what I call plenty). The wheels did come with almost paper thin centering rings, which I used, along with some smaller lug nuts.

Tires are 245/40/20 Vredesteins, which I bought based on the Tire Rack's rave reviews--plus they're quite affordable, too (about $190 each). Supposed to ride well and stay quiet, which were still priorities for me. I will say that if you're leery of ride quality getting worse with 20s, don't worry about it. I was a little concerned, but by picking the right tires and the right size, ride quality hasn't changed noticeably. There might be a little more tire noise, but it's hard to be sure. It's still VERY quiet. I have zero complaints about this upgrade and it transformed the entire car. 20s make this car look like it was designed to look.

Next up, getting rid of some badges and lowering the suspension.
