My 2004 has over 250k. Original motor and trans as far as I can tell.

My first post here. 1995 with 75k. I joined to help out my father, he owns the car. He is getting ready too re-do the whole car. He had a few questions for me. I'm here to ask a bunch of questions for him to all of you here.
Thanks in advance!

Very few responses over 200000 miles. Most responses with repairs. Go to a Honda or Toyota Lexus Acura forum and see the cars well over 300000. It is what it is...I have two Buicks but cannot see myself buying anything GM again unless I got a 3.8 series 3 low low mileage and low price. I guess there are reasons why the Toyota Corolla is the best selling vehicle in the world.

Toyota Corolla is what gets the entry level customer over to Toyota. As time goes on and the customer makes more money they progress to Lexus. Unfortunately GM's entry level cars are not on par with a Toyota Corolla. My first car was a 1960 Chevy Impala that I bought in High School 1974. I've stayed with GM ever since then.

Well, like it or not the EV is here and coming. Can GM's EV's compete? We shall see. They all take TLC even the Toyota and Honda.

187k on mine, I personally would never own a Corolla, my lesabre gets very close to the same gas mileage that a toyota gets highway. It might not compare in city but for a heavier bigger vehicle I can't discredit that in any shape form or fashion.

1998 LeSabre 243.000 miles great car when GM was #1 looking for another 200,000

I recently had to scrap my 93 Lesabre with 270,000 miles. The killer was rust in the fuel tank and rust in the front strut towers. Now I have a 1997 Lesabre with 100,000 miles with a spotless undercarriage and like-new leather seats in Adriatic Blue. My first purchase was Armorall Leather Conditioner. I use it monthly since I am heavier than Grandma.

I have two Lesabres at the moment. My daily driver is a 2003 with 271K on it but rusting badly on the spring perches and will be replaced this spring with my newly found 2005 with 20,863 original miles on it and zero rust.

2004 limited lesabre celebration edition. 80000 km. Bought it last year with 26000 km! Mint! Pearl white tricoat

1995 @ 180K, 20+ years of ownership, original engine and transmission. Parts availability because of age is the only problem.

2003 "Dreamer" Lesabre Limited +92k, everything original.
