Very few responses over 200000 miles. Most responses with repairs. Go to a Honda or Toyota Lexus Acura forum and see the cars well over 300000. It is what it is...I have two Buicks but cannot see myself buying anything GM again unless I got a 3.8 series 3 low low mileage and low price. I guess there are reasons why the Toyota Corolla is the best selling vehicle in the world. My first post here. 1995 with 75k. I joined to help out my father, he owns the car. He is getting ready too re-do the whole car. He had a few questions for me. I'm here to ask a bunch of questions for him to all of you here.
Thanks in advance!
Toyota Corolla is what gets the entry level customer over to Toyota. As time goes on and the customer makes more money they progress to Lexus. Unfortunately GM's entry level cars are not on par with a Toyota Corolla. My first car was a 1960 Chevy Impala that I bought in High School 1974. I've stayed with GM ever since then.Very few responses over 200000 miles. Most responses with repairs. Go to a Honda or Toyota Lexus Acura forum and see the cars well over 300000. Well, like it or not the EV is here and coming. Can GM's EV's compete? We shall see. They all take TLC even the Toyota and Honda.Toyota Corolla is what gets the entry level customer over to Toyota. Did you ever do a tranny flush? My 2002 LaSabre has 361,650 miles as of today. Original engine, original transmission, original exhaust, numerous wheel bearings and tires, four deer collisions, just keeps going. Hoping to get 500K out of the old gal.
