Lowering your GS

Bump. Awesome photo posted GTX. 02, that is legit getting in contact with Canuck Motorsports. Sitting here on pins and needles waiting for updates.

I just wanted to put it in their heads, I'm waiting for Employee Pricing before I get mine, it should happen in about two weeks and then I'll start negotiating.

Although, I'm not about to give up my springs anytime soon and ship them from Toronto to Vancouver. I'll leave that to someone more local but like you, I'm sitting on pins and needles too. 🙂

I found this, I'm not sure if others have seen it but it gives an idea of how a Regal looks lowered on the stock 19's, dunno if it's a photoshop though. But if it's not, where did those springs come from?

Unfortunately, there's no info on it.🙁

That car does look good. Trying to figure out the license plate on the car. Can make out house but can't make out the letters before house though.

I was at Barrett-Jackson and GM had a tent setup showing off the new models. The new Cadillac ATS also suffers from major wheel gap. I really wonder what GM is thinking!

hmmm... Woodhouse has a pretty badass in-house motorsports shop. I actually know the manager of their motorsports division through the Viper club. I'll shoot him an email and see if he knows anything about that Regal.

Well, he got back to me pretty quick but no good news.

Here is what I sent:
Here is my question… my current daily driver is a ’12 Regal GS. There aren’t many mods available for them yet, but I came across this car through one of the forums I am active with:

There is no information about it, other than saying it has been “lowered” …but it does have Woodhouse license plates on it. I figured that if anyone would know information about what was done to it, it would be you. Any info you could provide would be very helpful.

Here is his reply:
Sure I remember, that is a total Photoshop my friend, sorry. I can look around and see if there is anything shared for the platform we could use if you like, but doubtful I will find anything unless Eibach or someone makes springs that will fit.

Well that is a bummer.

It's the wheel gap the majority of us want to get rid of, which in this picture, it's gone. The back is supposed to be up a little. It gives it a sporty appearance.

So you guys want this?

I usually think of slammed as having way too much camber. These wheels are fairly up right.

That car is also bagged 😉

Oh, and I FINALLY got a tracking number on my springs. They are coming from the UK so it will probably be a week before they are here.

Definitely interested in this... 15-25mm as you mention further up in the thread would be a nice subtle drop without going overboard (see images above). 😎
