Tricia, I sent you a message on Facebook, case is still unresolved after four visits to two different dealers. Considering litigation as my only option. I guess GM would rather eat a 35k car and piss off a lifetime customer over a $150 strut mount.

Strut and strut mount ordered......keep your fingers crossed.

Did you end up going to another dealer then? Not sure exactly the rattle you are hearing or EXACTLY where its coming from but make sure your '11 has been updated with a TSB that covers a loose tail lamp assembly mounting. My dealer fixed mine some time ago and a buddy of mine bought the same year Regal and had the same rattle....passenger side. Tricia might even be able to find the exact TSB #...it will give you some ammo when you go back to the dealer that way!!

Still at the dealer...and the regional rep for Indiana hasnt called , as promised

Dealer replaced the strut and upper mount. The noise is still there and unchanged. What's a customer to do with a car that clearly has a design defect?

And it still rattles......are you listening GM?

The funny thing is they fixed mine but I think all it did was cure the rattling/ loose suspension noise. I swear when I go over rough roads the front right suspension is much noisier than the left. It sounds like a magnified hollow noise when going over choppy roads.

I would say that my car exhibits the exact same noise as yours. I have the rattling/ loose suspension noise, and overall, the passenger side is much louder over bumps than the drivers side. Does anyone here have a 2012 , and does it exhibit the same noise, also what trim level. I have a t07 with the 19s and selectable suspension, if that makes a difference.

Still same noise here.... only right front side, hit a bump with left, and its solid, no noise, and yes, replaced the strut and some "link", no dice.

It looks like we are in the same boat.

My car has been making a similar noise for the last several months. After MANY attempts to have the dealer fix it they were finally able to hear it last week. They claimed they "fixed it" but after a day it was making the same noise only this time worse and significantly louder. Finally this past week, after they took the whole front apart, they discovered it was the Axle that now has to be replaced. The car is barely a year old and I've already had a taillight replaced because it burnt out, some plugs in the engine replaced, the heated seat element on the driver side back and bottom both needed to be replaced and now the Axle...what a joke!

Did the axle fix your noise?

A couple of questions guys. Has anyone had this issue fixed, and secondly, does anyone have this issue on a 2012 or not? Thanks, I'm doing Buick Customer Services job for them, since they're clearly unable to do it themselves.

No my car is not fixed yet and it is a 2011 T06. I am going to make a new appointment this week. I have a new issue as well when I turn the car wheel left or right I am getting a popping noise that sounds like a spring. I have no clue what this could now be.

Hate to say it, 2012 Premium 2 eAssist here, fresh from the plant in January, and have a very similar problem. Front passenger wheel, noise for me can only be heard when slowing to a stop (right at about 1MPH), regardless of whether brakes are applied. My situation may be slightly different since crossing speed bumps or other road irregularities does not produce the sound. I finally decided to investigate it over the weekend to see if I can reproduce the symptoms easy enough to take it in. I popped the hood, stuck my ear to the strut mount, and gently pulled upward on the frame of the car; sure enough a pop noise can be heard on each tug. Took it into to show service dept on Saturday and thank goodness, was able to reproduce this with the technicians there. I am scheduled tomorrow to bring the car in so they can begin to investigate and render a remedy. I will keep everyone posted.

Anyone else able to replicate by tugging upward on the frame of the car?

Anyone have this issue resolved yet?

Let me know how it goes at the dealer and feel free to contact me with any questions in the meantime.
