Saw my first TourX in the wild today.

It *looks* to me to be repairable, but I am by no means an expert. My concern would be primarily the availability of parts as a result of the Opel/GM relationship and the GM strike. Hope you are not out of action for too long--although I am sure her insurance will cover a rental car of some sort.

Since the car is so new..you may want to talk to your insurance company about whether you are entitled to loss of use and/or a diminished value claim.

Best of luck!

It only took 8 months but I finally saw another TourX leaving the grocery store as I was pulling into a grocery store here in Chicago 😀
I saw three the same day a couple weeks ago. All at the same intersection. Two white one black.

Tilton NH by Big Apple by Town Hall, I was dusk. It was dark grey or green. I was in My tri-coat White TourX, Not sure they noticed.

I saw the first other, around here other than mine, the other day. It was white, I didn't have time to snap a pic, I don't think they saw my dark blue X - is there a certain wave, or light display we use to acknowledge TourX's? I'd like to talk to another owner, maybe in a parking lot somewhere. Since I've only 1 other after having mine for 7 months here in Western NY, and who knows if there'll be many more made - I'm thinking it isn't likely. Fortunately, this Forum exists

Didn't VW Beetle owners have a special wave back in the 60s and 70s?

When I had my 150cc scooter the guys on "crotch rockets" largely ignored me but what was funny is the tough hombres on Harleys and Indians always gave me the two finger wave and smiled.

Was that sighting in the "ROC"? I saw a dark blue one near 490 yesterday.

Saw a white with pano / roofrack going south on Central Expressway in Dallas today. She had no idea I was there... and she passed me in the adjacent lane.

Tally ho!!

Anyone driving thru Ramsey NJ last night around 9pm? Saw another tourX, white passed me on highway 17 southbound. Pulled out of the gas station into slow lane..white tourX in fast lane speeding towards Garden State Pkwy.

Anyone on here?

We may have to have our own "gang signs" to self identify when we see another TourX . :headbang:

I saw my 4th TourX yesterday in as many months. A white one parked outside a house in the middle of WI between Babcock and Pittsville.

Trivia...Pittsville is the geographical center of the state, fwiw.

Managed last week to spot TWO on Thursday...and just a couple cars apart from each other. One Smoked Pearl and a Sport Red. Right up the street from the dealer that probably sold them (and mine). If not for my oil change appointment, I'd have followed the red one into the Walmart it looked like it was pulling into. These two bring my count to 6 in the 7 months I've mad mine.

My son claims to have seen one just like mine at the local high school. I told him that was impossible since the TourX is about as common as seeing a Ferrari. He didn't believe me till I showed him some sales numbers. But he still doesn't think my car is as cool as a Ferrari.

7+ months of ownership and I have still never seen one in San Diego, CA

Many more Lambos and Ferraris, etc as there are TourX.
Try Bugatti.

Today was the first time I saw another TourX while driving my TourX. Right at 5 months and

5 months and 5,000 miles of ownership, saw my first TourX while driving my TourX on the 405 north through Long Beach this morning.

I did see one on OC surface streets a few months before I bought mine, so that makes two total in So Cal in the last year.

It's funny, here in NorthCentral Indiana, I sort more Regal Sportback than the TourX model. My wife says there is another white Sportback that parks in the same garage as she uses, and the other day, heading to work, I came across a black Regal Sportback.

Saw a black TourX yesterday at a wedding in Woodstock, Illinois.

Now that I think about it.
Parking mine next to my pal's on his driveway will be a cool sight to see! (Assuming he does not mind to pull out from the garage for a photoshoot in the middle of freezing December)
