TourX Roof Rack

This is a thread with great value. I am happy to realize there are after market rack bars fit perfectly and look better than OEM parts. Thanks a lot.
 
Does anyone have any pictures of these non-gm roof racks with a roof basket or cargo carrier installed? Hoping I can see how much room the hardware for these things has when the sunroof is opened? My Thule carrier has 'claws' that wrap around the crossbars that make me concerned about these aftermarket (even Thule) options.

Installed mine as well. Crossbars alone, slight wind noise above 65. With radio on it isn’t noticeable. With Thule sidearm, above 65, radio needs to be a little louder. Make sure you install the rubber strips in the open channel on top and bottom, otherwise, it sounds like a rape whistle and is very loud.

How does it look? I just ordered the same thing as you did. Curious to see if it looks good on the TourX

Good for me. I will take a picture with it on there tomorrow. I have the front feet just behind the front dimples. Bar spread is about 30”, max for rack.

Sorry for the delay. Weather and schedule issues. I just set it up there for the pictures. Bar spread is ~30 3/8” (front inside to rear inside). I am not sure how much a fairing would reduce the noise. Have not ran it with the bike on there yet. The wind isn’t really bothersome at 75 mph. Below 65 it isn’t noticeable.

Yup works with the panoramic roof with about half an inch of clearance if placed right above where the roof tilts up.
