How To: Oil Change on Regal TourX

I bought my 2019 Sportback used and there wasn't a belly pan on it. I guess I will see if the dealer can get me one, or try to find one at a salvage yard. Although, I must say that performance or gas mileage doesn't seem to be affected by not having one.
I could be wrong but I don't think the Sportback has a skid plate from the factory.

I was impressed with the belly shield. The shields on my Fords have been made out of cardboard type material. What is the plate at the bottom of the oil pan with the 5-6 bolts?

Thank you for the great write-up. Good to see the oil drain plug is at the back of the pan so a front end lift or ramps doesn't present a drain problem.

Just changed the oil in my 2018 Buick Regal TourX with many thanks to all who posted here.

Happy New Year!!!

I added a Fumoto valve that replaced my drain plug. It makes it much easier to drain the oil. Have been using them for years on all of my vehicles.
