Looks good! Did you remove the front license plate holder or do you just have a dirty car? Oh, and take more pics, I havent seen a WDT with the front lip! Did you also get side skirts?

I came across it looking for fender vents like the ones on the GNX. But I didn't want actual GNX vents. These actually look like they belong on this body. Ill hook the LEDs up to the turn signal.

I'm thinking of modifying the DRLs to fit in the fangs as well. Just a thought.

I kid i kid, but my next mod is a stick on hood scoop from AutoZone, i heard they give u better mpgs

It's amazing how it takes them two months and the guy on eBay less the two weeks . I think it was just a week . I installed the Ali express set , yesterday the eBay set showed up yesterday ! The big question is do I keep the extra set or sell them I paid $138.00 for the eBay set shipped . ??????? they are the same

Mine seems to be coming much quicker than the GS diecast I bought. I purchased the DRLs on eBay last Sunday and its already in a NY port. It should be here in a few days. My diecast took a month.

When I bought it a few months back, it didn't have a front license plate holder. I like the look without the plate, so I didn't press it. As for the lip, I purchased the one from the ebay link in a separate thread in this forum. ~$30. Easy to put on...just make sure you clean under the bumper, and the sticky tape holds solid...took ~15 minutes. I didn't do any side skirts -- I personally like the clean look on the side.

..as a side note, yes it is dirty (finally getting some rain out here) 🙂

They arrived but not what I expected. I was so amped in getting them I didn't realize they're chrome around the edges. If I had a white car they would be ok but I'm going to have to plastidip these or something.

I have a couple of options. I can can carefully remove the chrome and paint it. After painting I can glue it back on again. Or I can remove the chrome and the glue then paint the around the edge in place of the chrome. Both have pros and cons. If I paint the chrome I have to worry about chips and the chrome falling off. If I leave it off I have to worry about light bleeding through the paint.

If my car wasn't black it wouldn't be an issue.

See the second to last sentence in his post. He advised the lights had chrome bezels.

I took the bezels off. It is only double-sided tape. I sanded them down, and I am trying to find a match for the silver trim around the "fangs" to match. Then I'll just end up hot gluing them back on.

You gave me an idea. I wonder if a light sanding would scuff them enough to look like aluminum? Ill have to do a test on something first. Would have to be very fine sand paper.

Try 1500. Should be light enough to give it that "brushed" look, but not strong enough to take it all off. Do it wet, though, otherwise you'll just burn right through the coating.

I just wet sanded them and they now have an aluminum look. I pushed a little to hard on the edge and went through the chrome but it won't be seen. If anyone does it just practice on the edge so you don't screw them up. I would post a pic but the forum doesn't allow my app to upload photos.
