Out of curiosity, has any of the folks out there that have bought an IPF tune have experience with the trans tune as well? I'm looking at going with the IPF tune, just wondering if I should consider picking up the trans tune as well.

I have had great feedback on the TCU/ECU combo tuning, We can offer either a FREE TCU upgrade or $100 off your ECU tuning. Coupon Code is 100offtuning or don't use the coupon and enter FREE TCU in the Comments section!!

It's been awhile since I've been on here so I didn't even know there was a TCU tune. I've had my IPF ECU tune since January and I still LOVE it. I put the stock tune back on the other day because I thought I was going to take my Regal into the shop and I didn't though, but there is such a difference in acceleration without the tune. I will put it back on tomorrow. I definitely want the TCU tune.

Andy, are you still with KPE? I will respond with my emails from January to inquire about the TCU tune.

Not a dumb question, actually a good one, you could use any PC running Windows XP, 7, 8 or 8.1. A laptop PC is not required either, you could use a desktop PC as well. The IPF module, Vehicle and computer are not connected at the same time, ever. Also a nice benefit of the IPF is you can store a tuning file on the module itself. i.e. your stock calibrations. So for instance, your stock file can be loaded on your IPF module and left on the hardware until you want to flash the car back to stock. At that point, no computer or internet even required!! just plug the module in and flash back to stock in less than 5 minutes.
An had a cam solenoid go bad and the dealer replaced it. They must have reflashed or something since I noticed a power loss. I flashed the IPF Tune again and went back to spinning tires. I did it on Windows 10 after updating the flash software. I think it's even better than before since I now have the Stage Kit and it must have learned again. I'm gong to learn more about the TCM tune and Trans tune.

So there is a way to tune the 12-13 GS TCM? I have Trifecta now but they don't offer it.

hi I'm Dereck sale manager at IPF Tuning

I know this is an old post but it is an often asked question why who what where. That said not all tunes are the same that's a give in. Tunes come well rounded for total drivability make you feel like you have a new car, some are set to peak performance drivability is gone, some are partially done to look good on a dyno, some do nothing hate to say it. I have bought many tunes and I've experienced every one of the tunes I've listed before I came to work for IPF Tuning. I'm not going to try and sell you a tune but if your looking for one IPF tunes are for the total driving experience our tunes deliver on 2.0L turbo has 41hp and 62 pounds of torque not to mention better throttle response and gas mileage. don't be fooled by gimmick products you don't need them if the car is tuned properly and you pay for what you get. i hope this helps.

Hi Dereck and Andy, I purchased my ECU tune from you guys back in January. I would like to get the TCU tune also but I can't find it anywhere on your website. Are they sold separately or is the TCU and ECU tune sold together in the same package?
