Mr. Mayor, Mr. Mayor, Mr. Mayor,,,,, A few questions please?.......
"Thank you sir".
Mr. McCheese, Hi, I'm nizerims from the "Buick Street Team" channel., "here, let me get this leaf out of your lower grille in picture 1" OK.
The GS looks beautiful by the way Sir!
Our viewers want to know if you wired your L.E.D's to flash with your turn signals?
Also, we have a Twitter question From @HowieFeltersnatch... Howie says "That Euro Plate is DOPE! Is it your NJ plate number on a Euro plate? Or does it traslate to something else?"
This has been nizerims, reporting live with MayorMcCheese. Now back to Sal Collaziano in The Buick Owners Group studio.
(yeah, I know. don't judge me. This entertains,,,,,,, ME)
DONE
i love how they look they do better in person than what the camera catches
installation was self explanatory using this thread i had my own method but no real issues
oh and that buick logo on the grill will soon be replaced with a opel badge.. found a connection keeping the stock grill replacing just the Buick logo alone
I just wet sanded them and they now have an aluminum look. I pushed a little to hard on the edge and went through the chrome but it won't be seen. If anyone does it just practice on the edge so you don't screw them up. I would post a pic but the forum doesn't allow my app to upload photos.
I didn't remove the bezel. I used the finest grit wet sand paper I could find from Home Depot. I think it was 800 grit. I dipped the sand paper in water then sanded. I sanded the sides first to get the right amount of pressure to apply. If you press to hard you will sand down to a brassy looking metal. You will also get light streaks if you sand too much in one direction. You might want to use a finer sand paper than I did but if your carful you should be fine with the 800.DonRican,
Could you tell me exactly what you did to sand the lights down to get the aluminum look? Did you remove the chrome bezel first sand and then reattached? What grit paper did you use, and around how long did it take? Sorry for all the questions, I just got the lights and only want to go through this one time.
Also has anyone sanded down the housing of the light to help make it fit more flush? I think this will greatly enhance the look of my GS, but I want it to look as factory is possible.
Thanks all. I haven't had a chance to post but I've been a 2013 Black Diamond Tricoat GS owner for a little over 3 weeks and I love it.

Also, be very careful not to sand the lens.

OH man finally! They look great! I still dig that grille you have
Looks great. Another happy person with Fog Lamps installed. I need to get off my fat a** and purchase these already.![]()
It is a toss-up for what is more difficult to remove: the stock black plastic "vents" or the dust cap on the stock gear shifter.
If I never have to "remove" another part on this car it'll be too soon lol those plastic parts were doing everything aside from flat out laughing at me lol
