TSB 19-NA-100 Radio Software Version 22.8 and TSB 19-NA-249 Favorites Grayed Out- Nov 4, 2019

Thanks. I will go look.
I just looked. There is no sign of a clock anywhere near the speedo/DIC. The only clock is on the entertainment/nav screen.
I have a 2019 GS.

The manual for this car is really bad. I just looked at it and there is no mention of displaying the clock in the DIC but I know it is possible. One thing to consider is that TWO DIC systems are described in the manual - the "base level" DIC and the "up level" DIC. On mine, (uplevel), you navigate to the "home page" menu and there you can select what you want displayed on the "home" screen (the one with the speed displayed). Select "clock" (checkmark by it) and that should do it. Maybe the "base level" doesn't offer the clock in the DIC?

I have the TourX, so I don't get the fancier 8 inch DIC.
For my vehicle, I need to navigate to the far right side to go into Options menu.
Then choose Home Page Options.

Check the box next to Time.

Then move all the way back to the left side to go back to home page.
The clock would then display.

I am not sure if it is possible to get the clock on the 8 inch DIC. Never dealt with that before.

On the other hand, I still have 21.1 radio.

Edit:
Now that I have seen some video on the GS DIC, it appears to be the same as last gen Regal GS's cluster. From what I remember, it does not have an option to display the clock there.

Thanks for the info. My GS does not have this system.

I have a 2019 Regal Preferred II, it has the option to display the clock on the DIC. I did not purchase the navigation option for this vehicle.

I wish the DIC could display the outside temperature because when using Apple CarPlay, the outside temperature is not displayed on the infotainment screen.
Also, I wish you could see the cardinal direction somewhere if you are in CarPlay.

The only additional display I wish I had is altitude.

As for radio presets gray out, I still have that problem once or twice a week. Even though I have 22.9. Everything else works correct, so because it only takes me 2 to 5 minutes to reprogram, I’m not going to try to have it corrected until late summer.

Finally got the 22.9 update while in for LCA/upper strut mount replacement.
Upgrade alone didn't work, they also had to install a new SD card.
The good - speed limit sign in the DIC now works properly.
The bad - Android Auto disconnects itself about every 10 - 15 minutes. Was bulletproof before the update.

I think some reported having luck doing a system reset. Then set things back up the way you want again and hopefully you are good to go.

When my radio was replaced (becuase it wouldn't take the update) I have greyed out XM presets sometime. But it is only XM, not terrestrial or Iheart presets, and not all the XM ones. It's not hard to restore them, but I might try creating a new profile first before doing the reset.

My 2018.5 Preferred went to the dealer for an update today, after updating to 22.9, the speed limit still has no value. And the nav cannot find the SD card anymore. I left the car to them to see what they can do.

Is your speed sign working on 21.1?

Wait, so your one is the red needle. Which kind of radio does it have?
