How many miles on your LeSabre

Just a few miles shy of 150K on my 2003 LeSabre Custom. Owned it since December but I only put about 5K miles on it so far. Engine and transmission are still going strong! Paid $1800 for it. The most miles I've ever seen on a Buick was 430K miles on a 2000 LeSabre. Here's the link below if anybody doesn't believe me. Goodness knows what the story is behinf the car though.

'91 Lesabre Custom, 365,000 and still rollin'.

Currently in the middle of a full sensor package upgrade/replacement. Has a shifting/surging problem between 30-50 mph going uphill in second gear that I'm still trying to track down (think it's either of TPS, MAF, VSS, TCS, or Torque converter related). Starter seems to be weakening so I want to replace that, too. Shocks, springs, etc. also... all the stuff you'd expect on a 21-year-old car that hasn't had a serious parts overhaul in maybe a decade and gets drove 100 miles a day. ;p

Used to be my grandpa and grandma's until they passed and I sort of inherited it. I've abused my baby, but I'm keepin' a closer eye on her now. Have let the oil run low (twice), dealt with a bad trans leak for the longest time (fixed that), and overfilled the oil once. Overheated once or twice on me when I let the coolant run low. Still goes strong. Built like a tank. 😎 Needs a bit o' body work (grille, hood, rear right bumper panel) and roof headboard.

I could probably run this engine all the way to a million miles if I wanted, but I think I may want to rebuild it anyways along with the transmission around 400,000 miles 'cause I would figure that with 1-2 million revolutions on it the piston ring seals have got to be slowly wearing completely out, and if I remember right, the last time I did the sparks a touch of oil was on a couple of 'em, so that's an early indicator. Anyway, when the trans decides it wants to act fine, I still blow these little pissant Japanese cars off the road. :headbang: Faster than folks think it is.

97 Buick Lesabre 167k miles on it.

This car is a mess, with Transmission problems, computer problems, and steering problems.

I have 61,600 on my 2005 Buick Lesabre Celebration Edition, I purchased it with 54,000 on it in January 2014.

155,000 miles on my '03 LeSabre Limited. Few problems: (fuel/water pump going, ABS/tract. control not functional, wheel bearings making noise, large dent on driver doors due to getting struck by a Ford Edge) but nothing too severe. Still drives like a champ to me!

Gas gauge and dual zone climate control acting squirrelly on the 03 Limited. Other than that, so far, so good.

Just turned over 162,000 miles today... bought at the beginning of the year at 159k for about $1400. Unbelievable, for a mid/full size luxury car! Very few problems and drives like a dream for the age & miles that it has.

03 Lesabre purchase in Sept 2013 with 21500 miles. Currently 35300 miles. Had to do some deferred maintenance when I got it but it runs great. Drove about 80 miles on a toll way with a speed limit of 85, I did 90. No vibration of any kind.

Hey guys, First post here figured it was a good place to hop into. I am driving a 95 Lesabre with 227,000 on it.
My first car, I got it with 175 and im just now starting to have issues and im gonna try my hardest to bring her back to life cuz I want her to run to 300 if I can help it. I love this car.

Just acquired a 98 to be my daily driver that rolled over 50,000 on the drive home. Quite a nice highway cruiser, and pretty much perfect other than a few lighting issues I'll be posting about soon 🙂

Proud to say my girl just rolled over 150K. 94 Limited one-owner before me. CarFax read like the dealer maintenance book. With the help of everyone on the forum, hoping to see 200K next!

My 2002 LaSabre has 361,650 miles as of today. Original engine, original transmission, original exhaust, numerous wheel bearings and tires, four deer collisions, just keeps going. Hoping to get 500K out of the old gal.

Picked up my '85 LeSabre Collector's Edition last summer with just 48,000 miles on it. Registered it as historical, and barely drive it, but I love this car. Badly in need of some TLC and a headliner, but other than that, some suspension work (broken springs) and brake line replacement, everything's in working order. Seems pretty underpowered at the moment, but after putting it through the paces for a few days in a row, it's starting to open up a bit. Looking forward to getting it cleaned up and cruising around.
Haven't driven it much since I got it because I had JUST purchased a 2013 Charger R/T and that's been my daily driver and I've been spending a enough time with it that my girlfriend is jealous... little does she know that my love for the LeSabre can be just as bad, lol. 1st post, by the way, can't wait to read more!

I think we have a winner!!!! And I thought my '00 LeSabre's 162k was getting up there... not even close! I've got some noise in the front end too which may be a wheel bearing, but otherwise I have no complaints.

My 99 I bought yesterday has just about 32000.

282,000 for my beast! This car has seen many deer.
